Cultural
Engineering

Kurt's home studio where he recorded all of the vocals and instruments. This is the first project he has produced on a MacIntosh G4 and digi 001 (protools).

Umbrella
Sound

A studio owned and operated by Jamie Stanley and Joao Carvello, and a favorite choice for many independent artists. Greg O'Shea is the house engineer and mixed the tracks by first transferring them out of protools through vintage Neve strips, tube compressors, and back through the Yamaha board in Umbrella's analog room. After balancing the tracks in protools, the final mixes were transferred onto 1/4" tape to add another layer of anaolg warmth. Joao transferred the tapes back onto Protools to do final mastering and sequencing.
